The NCCR's Mission
The National Center for Community Rehabilitation is a civil organization, working distinguishably on community rehabilitation ( Medical, Psychological , Social rehabilitation , awareness, and community guidance) in Gaza governorates in an effort to play a vital role in building a better Palestinian society.
About NCCR
The National Center for Community Rehabilitation is a non-profit, non-governmental society , established in Gaza-Palestine in 1995 by an initiative of Palestinian disabled people, fulfilling the needs of disabled people and building a sound civil community . The NCCR is registered as a charity Association by virtue of the charity and national societies number(1) enacted in the year 2000. The center is licensed by the Ministry of Interior under the number (2054), and by the Ministry of Social Affairs under the number (299) .
Objectives
- Working on improving the medical , rehabilitative, and educational services and programs supplied to the disabled people in the community;
- Working on improving the capabilities of the disabled people and activating their role in the community;
- Fostering community awareness about the disabled people's issues, rights and concerns; and
- Elevating community awareness about reasons behind disability and how to prevent it.
